Documentary Screening: Handmade Future
Join us at Lumber + Linen for a special screening of HANDMADE FUTURE, an award-winning documentary exploring the people and communities preserving craftsmanship, heritage, and responsible trade across the globe.
Directed by Kirsten Dickerson and filmed by Brandon Dickerson, founders of A&N, HANDMADE FUTURE follows artisans in six countries as they protect generations of cultural tradition while confronting the realities of fast, cheap mass production and complex global supply chains. Through powerful storytelling and intimate cinematography, the film highlights how craftsmanship, beauty, and human connection can help restore a more thoughtful and connected world.
The film was honored as the winner of the Justice Film Festival Impact Award 2026 and is currently screening at festivals and special events around the world following its premiere in New York City.
At Lumber + Linen, we deeply value artisans, makers, and timeless craftsmanship from around the world. This evening is an opportunity to gather in community, celebrate intentional living and design, and support the preservation of handmade craft and artisan traditions.
