Rs. 7,800.00

This scent takes you on a walk through our kitchen gardens at Thyme. The delicious top notes of blackcurrant leaves, rhubarb and tomato vine, combined with the leafy heart notes of baby lettuce, rocket and a touch of hot mustard, are grounded by the earthy fragrance of the freshly dug, mineral rich soil.

Key Botanicals

Situated adjacent to the water meadows, our kitchen gardens at Thyme are an abundant space where neat rows of carrots, radishes and runner beans flourish, alongside carefully selected flavoursome and unusual varieties of flowers, herbs, fruits and vegetables. As you wander, breathe in the deliciously fragrant notes of blackcurrant leaves, rhubarb and tomato vine. Our designs are deeply rooted in this special place, celebrating the beauty in humble, home-grown vegetables.

The tomato, often thought of as a vegetable is in fact a berry. It originated in South America and was cultivated by the Aztecs before being brought to Europe by the Spanish who adopted the Aztec name tomati. As it gradually spread to France and Italy it acquired more romantic names, ‘apple of love’ (pomme d’amour ) and ‘the golden apple’ (pommodoro) respectively. Interestingly, tomatoes were first ornamental, before being embraced in cuisine after some initial suspicion.

How to use

Our candles are made with a blend of natural soy, rapeseed oil, and beeswax. Each one is hand-mixed and poured in the UK for a high-quality burn. Please note that burn times can vary depending on factors like care and environment. For the best experience, here are a few tips to help your candle burn evenly and last longer: Trim the wick: Always trim your wick to 5mm after each burn, once it has cooled down. This ensures a cleaner burn and helps prevent smoke or flickering. Avoid drafts: Do not burn your candle in a drafty area. Drafts can cause the wick to burn unevenly and may lead to tunneling. Even burning: To get the best burn, let your candle pool evenly (this means the wax melts all the way to the edge). We recommend burning it for about 1.5–2 hours, but no longer than 3 hours at a time. This helps to create a good "burn memory" and prevents tunneling. Fragrance oils: The essential oils in our candles can affect burn time, either speeding it up or slowing it down.
